Description
The Indian Girl Canoe was designed by J.H. Rushton, America’s premier canoe builder, for the burgeoning market of pleasure paddlers, which introduced the Indian Girl model in 1902. To quote Mr. Rushton, “The Indian Girl is strong, light, safe though speedy, graceful yet seaworthy.” This turn of the last century design lives up to its name.
This high quality, detailed, Indian Girl wooden canoe model is fully assembled and ready for display (not a kit). The wooden boat model is handcrafted from beautiful wood such as rosewood, mahogany, teak and along with various other exotic woods. The hull is constructed using plank on bulkhead method, each strip of exotic wood is carefully joined together to form a smooth hull. You can see this detail clearly in the pictures.
This wooden canoe model is completely hand built by skillful and creative master craftsmen. Included with this boat model is a wooden paddle and a wood stand with a metal name plate.
This Indian Girl measures 24″ long from front to rear. It’s a fabulous model boat that will be a conversation piece for any room or office. She would make a nice addition for your Boy Scout Headquarters, Camp, Cabin, Lodge, Restaurant or Pub.
