The Aurora is a ship used in the Tintin series which aided an expedition towards locating a meteorite. Tintin and Snowy breathe the sea air on board the Aurora, as they set sail on the search for a meteorite that has fallen into icy waters. There was a competition between the researchers allied with TinTin and the wealthy Sao Rican banker Mr. Bohlwinkle, who rode on the Peary. The Aurora was lead by Captain Haddock, whose goal was to reach the meteorite before their rival. Tintin encounters several ships in his travels along with The Sirius, La Licorne, and other Tintin adventure vessels that are offered on our website. The model is built to scale with top quality wood such as teak, mahogany with hollow superstructure and hull. She is 100% handcrafted individually using plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of the actual ship. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. This Aurora ship model is mounted on a solid wood base and ready to display, making it a great piece to add to any office, showroom, or collection.

  • Damaged in transit: If you’ve found damage to the package please keep the original shipping carton/shipping label. Contact us immediately within 4 days so we can issue a damage claim with carrier. If the item damaged inside a wooden crate, please do not continue to open wooden crate, contact us immediately for instruction.
